Associate Research Manager Job Description

Job Overview:

As an Associate Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing research projects and programs. You will work independently with minimal supervision from Director / Business Unit Head (BUH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to clients' research needs by recommending appropriate research projects/programs based on client's informational needs/problems.
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates for projects using innovative, customized research methodologies and business solutions.
  • Oversee the budgeting process for each project, establishing operating budgets and timetables for each phase of the project.
  • Network and develop close relationships with clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Communication Research, Marketing, Statistics, Math, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Mass Communication, Management or related fields.
  • At least five years of experience in qualitative or quantitative research.
  • Knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques and/or tools is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
