Maintenance Coordinator | Engineering and Maintenance Professional

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and excellent communication and coordination abilities.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position or 5 years of supervisory experience in a hotel maintenance department. They must be proficient in English and knowledgeable of hotel engineering equipment maintenance and repairs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of hotel buildings, grounds, and contents in a cost-efficient manner. They will supervise staff, assign tasks, and ensure smooth handover between teams.

They will also be responsible for regularly checking the operation of machine rooms, related systems, and equipment, and providing timely feedback. Additionally, they will advise on energy efficiency and manage administrative work within the team.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can work effectively with other departments to achieve common goals. They must be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff and provide guidance and training as needed.

They will also be responsible for conducting regular performance evaluations and guiding employees for higher positions. They must be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and suggest solutions to address employee mistakes.

They will monitor and implement energy management plans, ensure execution of emergency procedures, and coordinate with engineering procedures for other incidents.
