Job Description:

As a detail-oriented and highly organized individual, you will be responsible for managing loan files from origination through closing, ensuring compliance with all lending regulations, and facilitating timely and efficient processing.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy, working closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration and effective outcomes.

This role requires a high level of organization and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate records and files.

Key responsibilities include reviewing initial loan applications for accuracy and completeness, gathering, verifying, and analyzing financial and personal documentation, preparing and submitting loan packages to underwriting for approval, coordinating and communicating with loan officers, underwriters, clients, title companies, and other third-party vendors, ensuring all required documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements, tracking and updating loan status in the system, keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the process, resolving documentation or credit issues and requesting additional information when necessary, scheduling and preparing closing documents in coordination with the closing team, and maintaining accurate records and files in accordance with company policies and auditing requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in loan processing or mortgage broking
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems (MyCRM, Mercury, Infynity, Apply Online, Quickli, PropertyHub)
  • Proficiency in income verification of PAYG/Self Employed Income
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
