Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transactions Specialist to manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and collaborating with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment issues and improve collection rates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire AP/AR process from start to finish, guaranteeing precise and on-time account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and rectify payment discrepancies, streamlining financial workflows and improving overall efficiency.
  • Develop and analyze comprehensive financial reports, aging summaries, and key performance metrics to inform business decisions and optimize financial processes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AP or AR, accompanied by a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, as well as strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, reports).
  • Familiarity with audit preparation, regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS), and cash flow forecasting, with a comfort level working with large transaction volumes and tight deadlines.
