A fast-growing startup in the financial services sector is looking for an expert in business strategy, financial analysis, and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Strategy & Financial Analysis:
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies and business metrics to drive revenue and profitability.
    • Lead financial modeling efforts to assess business performance and forecast future growth.
    • Collaborate closely with leadership to define and track KPIs for ongoing business initiatives.
    • Assist with strategic decision-making by providing in-depth analysis of market trends, competition, and financial data.
  • Investor Relations:
    • Support the company's efforts during the Series C funding round by preparing financial documents, presentations, and communications for investors.
    • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external investors, ensuring clear and effective communication of business strategy, performance, and growth potential.
  • Commercial & Corporate Banking Expertise:
    • Leverage experience from investment/corporate banking to provide valuable insights into business and financial strategies.
    • Understand market conditions and competitor dynamics in global financial services to optimize strategic decisions.
  • Investment Banking Support:
    • Utilize your investment banking background (e.g., associate, intern) to support M&\(A"]] activities, capital raising, and other strategic transactions.
    • Analyze investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and present findings to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background:
    • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience:
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, or financial services.
    • Proven experience in business strategy, financial modeling, and investor relations, particularly in high-growth or startup environments.
    • Exposure to the technology or financial technology sector is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in financial modeling and proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
    • Strong understanding of business metrics, corporate finance, and capital markets.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and corporate partners.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
    • High attention to detail and ability to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners.
