Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations Management: Manage and oversee daily company financial operations, ensuring accounting objectives are achieved and maintaining fiscal records.
  • Banking and Credit Management: Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, and manage fixed asset and debt activity.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Perform data entry using Xero, track work-in-progress jobs, manage diamond purchases, and submit daily production and sales reports.
  • Customer Management: Update customer profiles in the CRM system, analyze month-end reports for management and tax authorities, and perform other assigned tasks to support company goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required), along with a CPA qualification as a bonus.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years as Sr. Accountant and experience with an Australian company.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, month-end/year-end closing processes, and a sound understanding of GAAP is essential. Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting databases, and proficiency in Xero accounting software are required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis, exceptional analytical capabilities, decision-making skills, and problem-solving abilities are necessary for handling complex financial challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational prowess, time management abilities, and a commitment to upholding high ethical standards are also crucial in this role.

    What We Offer:

    • Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 (depending on your skills and experience)
