Infrastructure Manager Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee the management of our hybrid server/storage infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Pune and US team members, to deliver projects and implementations on time and within budget.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's hybrid server/storage infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Work with IT vendors to resolve technical issues and negotiate contracts.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in systems administration, focusing on Active Directory Administration, Group Policies, Windows Servers/Services, Microsoft WSUS, Microsoft DFS, Microsoft WDS, VMWare, AWS Cloud setups, and MSSQL database.
  • Extensive experience in handling Windows Enterprise and Virtualized Environments, as well as implementing and configuring server backup facilities using RAID and Clustering/Fail-Over technologies.
  • Proficient in installing, configuring, and performing advanced troubleshooting of server hardware and software components, with project management experience being an advantage.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL foundation certification.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
