Job Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Data Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior colleagues while providing opportunities for technical growth and development.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions regarding data system design, architecture, and optimizing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams across the business to drive project success.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data systems development.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools such as AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in data modeling tools & design.
  • Proven expertise in data engineering tools and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
  • Ability to build data solutions at the enterprise scale.
