Job Opportunity: Real Estate Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to craft captivating videos that showcase properties in the best possible light. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Final Cut Pro, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to manage high-volume content with fast turnaround while maintaining consistent visual and brand quality.

Responsibilities
  • Video Editing: Edit high-quality video presentations using Final Cut Pro, combining ground footage, drone shots, and music to create visually stunning property showcases.
  • Visual Storytelling: Structure video narratives that align with brand guidelines, listing goals, and the aesthetic expectations of modern real estate buyers.
  • Turnaround & Delivery: Deliver two edited videos per day, with an average turnaround time of 4-5 hours per video, depending on complexity.
  • Footage Management: Organize and sync raw media from multiple camera sources, ensuring color consistency, clean transitions, and audio clarity.
  • Collaborative Revisions: Work closely with producers and clients to implement feedback quickly and accurately, especially for high-stakes listings or brand-driven content.
  • Content Optimization: Export and optimize videos for MLS platforms, YouTube, and Instagram, tailoring resolutions and formats for various marketing channels.
Requirements
  • Final Cut Pro Expertise: Minimum 5.5+ years of advanced editing experience with Final Cut Pro X, including multi-cam workflows, transitions, stabilization, and color grading.
  • Real Estate Industry Experience: Proven experience editing videos for real estate listings, including familiarity with drone integration and walkthrough formats.
  • Visual Eye for Property Marketing: Strong design and composition sense, especially in showcasing architectural features, interior lighting, and exterior landscaping.
  • Fast & Reliable Workflow: Ability to manage high-volume content with fast turnaround while maintaining consistent visual and brand quality.
  • Client-Facing Communication Skills: Comfortable receiving and executing on client feedback, with strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
  • Technical Requirements: Access to a fast Mac editing setup (remote access possible) and a fast, reliable internet connection to support remote editing workflows.
