Cantonese Interpreter Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cantonese interpreter to facilitate effective communication between Cantonese and English-speaking clients.

This is a full-time remote role where the interpreter will provide accurate and timely interpretation during phone calls, video conferences, and other communication formats.

The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written skills in both Cantonese and English, as well as excellent listening and concentration skills.

They will be able to accurately interpret conversations in real-time and have knowledge of cultural nuances to handle culturally sensitive conversations.

In addition, they will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely interpretation during phone calls, video conferences, and other communication formats
  • Facilitate effective communication between Cantonese and English-speaking clients
  • Maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both Cantonese and English, including strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent listening and concentration skills
  • Ability to accurately interpret conversations in real-time
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and ability to handle culturally sensitive conversations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
