Accountant Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to manage financial records, prepare reports, and assist with tax compliance for U.S. based organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents.
    • Process client payroll using tools like Gusto or ADP, while ensuring adherence to relevant tax regulations.
  • Tax Compliance Support:
    • Prepare sales tax filings and corporate tax documentation, while ensuring compliance with U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
    • Support year-end tax preparation in collaboration with clients' CPAs.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable:
    • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and payments, and monitor cash flow.
  • Client Communication:
    • Collaborate with U.S.-based organizations to gather and verify financial and payroll information.
    • Address client inquiries and provide timely financial updates as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance accounting and payroll workflows.
