Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer II to join our team. This role involves applying in-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices to develop and implement robust test automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will work independently within our established automation framework to tackle challenging yet well-defined automation tasks. They will leverage their understanding of specialized testing principles and methodologies to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test automation scripts for various functionalities.

This is a mid-level position that requires 3-4 years of experience in software testing or a related field, with a strong background in test automation.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical audiences, and have a proven track record of independently designing, developing, and maintaining effective test automation scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills in scripting languages relevant to test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Experience with automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications
  • Proficiency in using Playwright with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) as testing framework
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have)
