Senior Payroll Specialist

Work collaboratively with the Customer Solutions team to process semimonthly payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate end-to-end processing in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Onboard new hires into the timekeeping system, guaranteeing their schedules are available during the training period.
- Monitor and review employee schedules to ensure availability in the timekeeping system.
- Coordinate with people leaders for timecard corrections and provide assistance with timekeeping issues and concerns.
- Perform historical edits in the timekeeping system and prepare payroll adjustments for requests received after timecard sign-off.
- Prepare complex payroll information for data input and assist with quality control and maintenance of records.
- Ensure timely submission of Time and Attendance reports to payroll.
- Prepare management reports, including overtime hours, days worked, and headcount reports per cost center.
- Handle governance-related items, such as audits by regulatory bodies.
- Provide client advisory services on payroll matters and assist in identifying corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with labor standards and policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of records.
- Keep leadership informed of schedules, timelines, status, issues, and mitigations.
- Contribute to process improvements through payroll and service delivery reform activities.
- Organize workload to meet deadlines and support after-hours tasks as required.
- Maintain data security and proficiency in applications and system integration tools used in Timekeeping.
