Job Overview

The primary responsibility of a QA Automation Engineer is to ensure the quality of software products through automated testing. This involves developing, executing, and maintaining scripts that simulate user actions and behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defining and establishing test automation strategies and processes for the company
  • Performing automation and manual testing to identify areas for improvement
  • Initiating, implementing, and reviewing the design and development of all aspects of automation testing, including script creation, execution, and maintenance
  • Monitoring automation processes and preparing status reports on progress
  • Documenting automation processes and designing an efficient automation framework for web products
  • Implementing reusable and robust test cases and evaluating results to improve tools, environment, and architecture
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in automation and manual testing
  • Experience in writing automated tests using Selenium and Cypress
  • Solid technical knowledge of automation tests and scripting
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to provide insights on improving existing automation frameworks and tools
