
Senior Financial Transaction Coordinator

The Accounting Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Accounting department by handling various administrative and accounting tasks. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with month-end closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and external vendors or clients to support efficient operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesTransactions
- Manage the transaction process, including approval, matching, and verification.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with monitoring the inbox and direct emails to relevant team members.
- Reconcile carrier accounts on a weekly basis.
- Assist with making entries in software for vendor payments.
Financial Operations
- Manage the Request for Proof of Delivery (POD) process.
- Assist with monitoring the accounting inbox and direct emails to relevant team members.
- Assist with the Customer Credit Application and approval process.
- Assist with making entries in software for customer payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to incoming payments.
- Assist with resolving billing disputes and escalating collection issues as needed.
Claims Resolution
- Collaborate with the Claims team to ensure claims are initiated efficiently.
- Communicate with customers and carriers to resolve claims.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including support for cross-functional initiatives or process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working as an Accountant or in a Finance team.
- Able to work night shifts.
- Flexible to start immediately.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Night shift required.
- Remote work flexibility available.
- Start date: Immediate.
