Job Overview

The Business Systems Expert is a key role at HR Network Inc, responsible for bridging stakeholders and the technical team to spearhead business project requirements. This position plays a critical part in maximizing productivity and communication by analyzing business needs, recommending improvements, and documenting all recommendations and modifications.

Responsibilities

This role involves consulting with clients and stakeholders to understand strategic goals and business needs, collaborating with IT to design systems that meet these objectives, and spearheading IT project requirements. The ideal candidate will identify project milestones, phases, and elements, form project teams within a specified budget, create and present reports to clients and stakeholders, and analyze and test both old and new systems through sampling, modeling, and soliciting feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Consulting with clients and stakeholders to ascertain strategic goals and business needs
  • Collaborating with IT to design systems that meet strategic goals
  • Spearheading IT project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project teams within a specified budget
  • Creating and presenting reports to clients and stakeholders for project updates and recommendations
  • Analyzing and testing both old and new systems through sampling, modeling, and soliciting feedback
  • Recommending controls and improvements by identifying problems and documenting improved procedures
  • Calculating the cost-effectiveness of a new system versus an old system
  • Developing specifications and templates for software engineers to follow
  • Performing risk assessments on legacy systems as well as proposed systems
  • Documenting project requirements and business case
  • Ensuring specification of requirements & technological solution is clear & complete
  • Determining and ensuring completeness of application/solution and facilitating UAT
  • Deploying application/solution and facilitating the training delivery
  • Acting as subject matter expert for application/solution
  • Ensuring that project Business Requirements methodology, procedures, and templates have been complied with

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

Education

A Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field

Skills

At least 2 years of systems analysis and design experience;
Experience in system and business analysis, developing and analyzing project needs;
Ability to analyze process flows, inputs, and outputs;
Fluent proficiency level in English and Tagalog oral and written communication;
Familiarity with databases languages such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redshift;
Familiarity with coding languages such as PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, JavaScript, Kotlin, and Swift;

Work Schedule

This role requires a 5-day work week with weekends off, working from 8am to 5pm.
