About the Role

The SEO Specialist will contribute to building Shopee's online presence across all markets. This individual will be a hands-on expert with proven experience in organic search and knowledge of best practices for content strategy, link building, technical analysis, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the regional SEO team and other cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Conduct competitive site analysis to drive business growth
  • Monitor SEO performance using key metrics
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve online visibility
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO traffic through content creation and digital marketing channels
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to enhance SEO positions for target keywords
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO and content marketing best practices
  • Experience with SEO and website analytics tools such as Google Search Console and Bing webmaster tool, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs.com, and Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development constraints
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Spanish language
