Job Description

The role of a financial planning analyst is critical in supporting business growth by providing actionable insights and recommendations. This position plays a key part in the company's success, driving informed decision-making through accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders, including project-specific information and up-to-date financial status.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage annual budgets, monitor monthly progress, and report variances.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including projections, forecasts, and variance analysis, to support strategic business decisions.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and maintain long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
  • Skill Set: Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and ability to multitask, prioritize, self-start, and manage time efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Results-oriented with strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and QuickBooks, with knowledge of accounting systems.
