About the Job

As a solar engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to industry guidelines and meet high standards of design, quality, and compliance. You will collaborate with project managers to maintain proper documentation according to ISO and relevant company requirements throughout the project.

Your responsibilities will include participating in the setup, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar energy systems. It is essential to stay informed about market trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices in the field of solar energy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and clients, to guarantee smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar energy systems.
  • Maintenance of knowledge on market trends, technological developments, and industry best practices.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for efficient project execution.
  • Creation of technical papers, feasibility studies, and project proposals for clients.
  • Support to Project Managers in creating project timelines, project-related documentation, and during execution of solar operations projects.
  • Conduct energy audits and advise customers on energy-saving strategies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Registered Electrical Engineer certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Helioscope, Sketchup, and Autocad.
  • Strong leadership and personal effectiveness skills.
  • Able to travel and work long hours as required.
  • Leadership of project team members and contractors on solar technology, best installation practices, and safety measures.
