Job Title

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Associate, Cost Segregation. This exciting opportunity will involve working with clients to maximize their opportunities and help them achieve their financial goals.

As a Tax Associate, Cost Segregation, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive fixed asset engagements, including cost segregation and fixed asset review studies. You will also learn to research issues related to cost segregation and fixed asset matters and be able to articulate or prepare documentation related to such matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare fixed asset engagements, including cost segregation and fixed asset review studies
  • Research and resolve issues related to cost segregation and fixed asset matters
  • Develop industry expertise to help yourself become a lasting member of the cost segregation practice
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field required
  • 1+ years of work experience within a cost segregation practice or a related field such as building inspection or appraisals, engineering related work, architecture, or building construction positions
  • Proficient in Adobe Pro DC, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the ability to learn new software as needed
  • Ability to read building plans, blueprints
  • Knowledge of RS Means and Marshall and Swift
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and timely
