Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to create scalable and secure API solutions for mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with PHP & Laravel framework, RESTful API design and development, and integration of mobile clients (iOS/Android) with Laravel backends. Strong understanding of database management, authentication flows, and debugging skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using Laravel framework.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices for API endpoints.
  • Collaborate with product and mobile development teams to scope and prioritize backend requirements.
  • Develop automated tests to ensure API reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in production.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years professional experience with PHP & Laravel framework.
  • Strong expertise in RESTful API design and development.
  • Experience integrating mobile clients (iOS/Android) with Laravel backends.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with queues, events, jobs, and service containers in Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of authentication flows (JWT, OAuth).
  • Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
