Job Overview

We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead and manage a team of tax preparation professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive tax experience, a strong background in U.S. accounting, and a proven track record in leadership, compliance, and client relationship management.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses using Intuit ProConnect Tax Software.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies for clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Lead and manage a team of tax preparation professionals, set performance expectations, and monitor team performance.

Requirements:
  • CPA license is required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of U.S. accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Intuit ProConnect Tax Software - preferred but not required.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset and excellent communication abilities.
