We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Canlubang, Laguna.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing sensory procedures, training, and calibrating sensory panels. They will also interpret the results of sensory evaluation using statistical analyses.

In addition, they will consolidate and control external documents and records such as Working Drafts, Specification Sheets, RHSG, and other documents pertinent to QA processes.

They will design training modules conforming to quality management systems and conduct training. The candidate will also coordinate with counterparts from operating units for quality assurance programs.

Moreover, they will recommend upgrades to facilities and equipment, streamline operations to meet service levels for the section.

They will conduct process improvement projects and processes that may originate from client R&D and/or other units.

The ideal candidate will have experience in auditing suppliers, toll processors, bakeries, and depots, flagging areas of concern, recommending actions to take, and monitoring the implementation of actions taken.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent fields.
  • Registered Microbiologist.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in food quality assurance and/or research and development, manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Knowledgeable in food science and technology.
  • Possess skills in implementing Integrated Management Systems (IMS) such as HACCP, ISO systems, FSSC, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Possibly experienced in bakery operations.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is ₱550,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location

This role is based in Canlubang, Laguna, and requires flexibility to work on shifting schedules.
