Job Description

We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our high-performance trading engine. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance components of our trading engine.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing system internals, including memory management, CPU cache usage, and NUMA awareness. You will also conduct kernel-level tuning and real-time system profiling to ensure seamless 24/7 availability.

Additionally, you will continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive end-to-end optimizations. Your expertise in advanced profiling tools, such as perf and flamegraphs, will enable you to analyze and improve performance.

You will write production-grade code in C++ or Rust that is secure, fast, and scalable. Your deep understanding of system-level concepts, including memory management, CPU architecture, and multithreading, will be essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • Proficiency in C++ or Rust is mandatory, with over 8 years of experience
  • Proficient in both English & Chinese is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of system-level concepts, including:
    • Memory management
    • CPU architecture and cache behavior
    • Lock-free programming
    • Memory barriers
    • Multithreading and concurrency
  • Experience with network-level optimizations, including TCP tuning and kernel bypass
  • Proven experience optimizing for low-latency and high-throughput environments
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and performance profiling
  • Prior experience building or maintaining high-frequency trading systems
