Salary

The salary for this role is negotiable, however we estimate it to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

As a Senior Construction Project Director, you will play a critical role in leading and managing construction projects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning and Management

You will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. This will involve working closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.

Team Leadership

You will lead and manage project teams, including construction workers, subcontractors, and consultants. Your leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration within the team.

Procurement and Quality Assurance

You will be responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services required for the project. Additionally, you will oversee inspections, testing, and quality assurance processes throughout the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education

A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is typically required.

Technical Skills

You should have proficiency in project management software (Procore, Builder trend, Microsoft Project) and construction-related software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam).

Leadership Skills

You should have proven leadership skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
