Virtual Biology Teacher Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Biology Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides.

This is a part-time role that offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to work from anywhere and set your own schedule. As a Virtual Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students synchronously during regular school hours, grading assignments, providing feedback, and representing our brand in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and pacing guides.
  • Differentiate lessons using a variety of online tools to engage students and deepen their understanding of the material.
  • Deliver live lessons synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum).
  • Evaluate and grade student work to track progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and growth.
  • Represent our brand and mission statement in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in biology or a related field.
  • An active US state-issued biology teaching certification.
  • Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources.
