About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to bridge data infrastructure, backend systems, and AI operations. This individual will be pivotal in building and scaling systems that power community businesses.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with product and community growth teams to automate core workflows, deploy AI agents, and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Maintain Data Pipelines and Infrastructure: Utilize tools like dbt and Snowflake to create efficient data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Build and Deploy AI Agents and Micro-Services: Develop and deploy AI agents and other micro-services/tools that support operational and community use cases.
  • Own Backend Architecture: Emphasize scalability, automation, and velocity in our backend architecture.
  • Integrate Third-Party Platforms: Unify customer data across systems by integrating third-party platforms (CRM, ESP, forms, etc.).
  • Support Internal Tools and Workflows: Help the team move faster with fewer resources by supporting internal tools and workflows.
Requirements:
  • Deep Experience with Modern Data Stacks: Have expertise with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Postgres, javascript and Python).
  • Comfortable Working in AI-Native Environments: Rapidly deploy tools like GPT or custom agents in AI-native environments.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies: Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy owning problems end-to-end.
