About the Role:

The Strategic Portfolio Manager will lead the development and implementation of Generika Drugstore's portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with market demand and driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Portfolio Management:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for product portfolio management, including principles for managing the entire product portfolio.
  • Build and manage the portfolio to ensure alignment with market demand, identifying core and regional offerings as well as Pareto SKUs.
  • Manage pricing and margin for each product to ensure alignment with approved pricing strategy and drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead product assessment for new product introductions and phasing out of products in the portfolio.
  • Conduct regular portfolio and product performance analysis to inform portfolio management and strategy.
Trade Strategy and Implementation:
  • Lead the development of the overall trade strategy for Generika's portfolio of products and create trade programs to execute on the strategy.
  • Drive implementation of trade programs in coordination with Marketing and RPU.
  • Implement strategies and programs for housebrands to increase sales and profitability and support building their equity as brands.
