About the Role

The Employee Relations Specialist position at Its Time For Tims Coffee plays a critical role in ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining open lines of communication between employees and management, resolving conflicts, and implementing company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Foster positive relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and complaints in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Collaborate with management to address labor-related issues, minimize conflicts, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Work closely with the Legal Department to address labor-related complaints and ensure the company's legal interests are protected.
  • Conduct mediation sessions to resolve disputes amicably.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to government agencies, ensuring compliance with mandatory labor regulations.
  • Oversee the resignation process, ensuring adherence to standard procedures.
  • Issue employment-related documents and ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee records.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Legal Management, Political Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or HR compliance, preferably in a non-unionized setting.
  • Strong background in Philippine labor laws, DOLE compliance, and handling workplace disputes.
  • Experience in mediation, conflict resolution, or handling labor-related legal matters is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

A strong background in labor relations, conflict resolution, and human resources is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and management alike.
