We are seeking a skilled Network Security Specialist to implement, maintain and support network security devices within an organization or between organizations.

This role is accountable for the maintenance and improvement of key client security networks.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Director of Operations and have strong working knowledge of security architecture, solutions, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering, implementation and maintenance of security tools, solutions, processes and policies to ensure an acceptable level of security and further improvement.
  • Provide security guidance and drive infrastructure decisions in collaboration with other technical and management teams.
  • Support security systems deployment, management and maintenance, including Firewalls, VPNs and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain policy, procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in information security solution engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge on government regulations, requirements, guidelines and industry standards on Information Security.
  • Hand-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection Systems, Vulnerability Scanners and Virtual Private Networking.
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of experience in a related field is required.
