Job Description

We are seeking Plautdietsch interpreters to provide consecutive interpretation during remote medical appointments.

The ideal candidate will possess fluency in both English and Plautdietsch, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages.

  • Provide consecutive interpretation during remote medical appointments.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior.
  • Support note taking and utilize memory techniques as needed during interpretation.
  • Follow the consecutive interpretation process and uphold high standards of quality and service.

We require a state-certified interpreter or equivalent experience. Familiarity with note taking and memory techniques is essential.

A minimum of two years of medical interpreting experience is required. Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics is also necessary.
