Senior Financial Manager Role

This position involves leading and managing the accounts payable function, processing purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments. The role also requires reconciling AP and credit card transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in accordance with established policies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor records and documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end close by preparing reports, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in audits by providing required schedules and supporting documents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in US accounting.

Skill Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP).
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial close processes, and variance analysis.
  • Experience preparing reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in dynamic work settings.
