Job Title: Database Administrator

This is a challenging role for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in MS-SQL, MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL (On-premise / Cloud AWS [EC2/RDS]).

The successful candidate will be responsible for database and schema creation, security and access control, backup and restoration, replication and synchronization, as well as performance and availability monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Database Provisioning
    • Provision and configure databases on-premise or in the cloud using AWS EC2/RDS.
  • Database Security
    • Implement database security measures including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Database Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor database performance and optimize it to ensure high availability.
Requirements
  • Required Skills
    • Strong knowledge of database administration principles and practices.
    • Experience with MS-SQL, MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL (On-premise / Cloud AWS [EC2/RDS]).
  • Preferred Skills
    • Cloud computing concepts.
    • Basic Networking (TCP/IP) / Firewall concepts.
