We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Trainee.

Job Description

The role involves assisting with the preparation of financial statements for clients, including draft income tax returns and GST return preparation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for bookkeeping and payroll work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements for clients.
  • Assist with Xero questions from clients.
  • Perform bookkeeping and payroll tasks.
  • Assist with GST return preparation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or other accounting-related degrees.
  • Preferably a CPA license holder.
  • Good written and verbal English skills.
  • Experience in Xero will be helpful.
  • Systematic, organized, and keen to learn/research.
  • Self-sufficient and tech-savvy.
  • Has leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
