Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Job Overview

We are partnering with our client to find a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will create, manage and execute automated tests to ensure software quality across web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts using leading automation frameworks.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
  • Run automated tests, analyse results and report defects, performance bottlenecks or other areas requiring attention.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure software is delivered with high quality.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in QA automation with expertise in end-to-end testing.
  • Familiarity with advanced capabilities such as network request mocking, headless testing, parallel execution and visual testing.
  • Knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of QA practices, automation frameworks and defect management.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
