Serves as a key resource for the organization and provides daily financial oversight to ensure that the financial records are complete, accurate and comply with generally accepted accounting principles, policies and regulations, to facilitate solid decision support.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensuring complete, timely and accurate accounting for Month-End Closing Activities & Reporting, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation & Payment Allocation.
  • Working with other teams by coordinating the proper closing of Fixed Assets, Intercompany transactions, Invoices & Payments, and Cash Applications.
  • Maintaining effective internal controls and ensuring accounting activities are Local GAAP compliance.
  • Processing and posting journal entries for routine transactions in the system and ensuring accuracy of the General Ledger.
  • Preparing supporting schedules for specific general ledger accounts and analyzing and reconciling specified balance sheet accounts monthly.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred but not required.
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and concepts.
  • Good understanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and concepts.
  • Knowledge in any ERP System, preferably SAP.
  • Knowledge in Hyperion Financial Management System.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
