In this role as a Sales Engineer for our Data Centres sector in the Philippines, you'll focus on achieving sales revenue targets by developing a strong pipeline of opportunities within the data centre industry. You'll play a key role in promoting Aggreko's rental solutions through strategic sales initiatives.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service and support to existing customers to grow accounts within the data centre sector.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads and opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Proposal Submission: Prepare and submit tailored technical and commercial proposals to meet clients' needs, in line with Aggreko's terms and conditions. Negotiate contracts and secure orders.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and submit regular territory/sector call plans and sales forecasts.
  • Technical Communication: Effectively communicate technical aspects related to the proposed solution, Aggreko fleet, installation, operation, and maintenance of all services provided.
  • Timely Response: Respond to urgent proposals and reports within agreed timelines.
  • Sales Strategy Planning: Regularly update and submit territory/sector call plans and sales forecasts.

Your essential skills and qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: Proven track record of driving growth in the data centre or semiconductor industries as a sales professional.
  • Sales & Technical Competence: At least 7-10 years of experience in sales, technical, and/or business development roles.
  • Sector Insight: Familiarity with equipment, data centre project development, or management within the semiconductor or similar industries.
  • Market Awareness: Strong knowledge of the local market and regulatory policies related to the data centre sector.
  • Educational Background: Engineering degree (or equivalent) in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering.
  • Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of power generation systems, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Account Management: Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts in the Philippines, with strong attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to work independently, think on your feet, and resolve issues without escalation.
  • Travel Flexibility: Open to traveling as required.
