The Digital Marketing Communications Expert will play a critical role in supporting the Automation Solutions business in its marketing strategies.

This includes providing excellent marketing support to the multiple aspects of the Measurement Solutions Technical Communications Group, which involves creating clear written material (technical documentation) in support of the organization's marketing programs in accordance with Emerson established editorial and style guides.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Create and update content by encoding XML on DITA files.
  2. Edit documents (e.g. Technical Notes and Configuration Data Sheets) using appropriate editing tools.
  3. Coordinate with partners on content approval and publishing/posting of documents.
  4. Create and monitor the completion of a standardized approval workflow for technical documents using appropriate tools.
  5. Maintain the photo library, logos, drawings, and other design assets.
  6. Check and validate Emerson Branding concepts and design on all technical documents for consistency for both internal and external customers.
  7. Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of updated technical documents, addressing issues and ensuring requests are resolved appropriately and on time.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

A Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, English, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent is required. You should have 3 years cumulative experience in technical documentation or development of any marketing collateral in an advertising, publication, shared services, or equivalent industry.
