We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.

Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to identify and analyze quality concerns through requirements review and product inspection, design appropriate tests to ensure quality, document defects and failure rates, perform root cause analysis, and communicate quality metrics in test reports.

About You
  • You must have a strong understanding of software development life cycles and be able to lead a team or mentor/coach other testers.
  • Able to learn quickly and be adaptable, with a natural curiosity and analytical mindset.
  • Experience working in web-based applications and understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Basic knowledge in automation and ability to replicate issues in QA environment based from reported issue in production/SIT.
  • Ability to execute test cases based from detailed test steps in JIRA Xray and raise bugs with detailed information of the issue.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, regression).
  • Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
  • Evaluates design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services, or devices.
  • Tests the usability and accessibility of components and alternative designs.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience working in web-based applications, understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, thorough understanding of software development life cycles, basic knowledge in automation.
