Accounting Professional Opportunity

Seek a meticulous and organized accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial principles, business administration, and financial reporting to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ledger management, financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close, expense management, tax compliance, internal controls, consolidation, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger Management: Assist in preparing and maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring financial data integrity.
  • Financial Reporting: Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to US GAAP standards.
  • Account Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end close process, including accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis.
  • Expense Management: Review and analyze expenses, ensuring proper coding and classification.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in tax return preparation, including sales tax and other state and local taxes.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and support compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
  • Consolidation: Assist in consolidation processes for multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations and consolidated financial statements.
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA (or pursuing) is a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience.
  • US GAAP experience required.
  • Consolidation experience for multi-entity organizations.
  • Direct selling industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Big Four Experience highly desirable.
  • Intercompany accounting experience a plus.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong accounting principles and practices knowledge.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions).
  • Accounting software experience (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
  • Foreign currency translations and global financial reporting requirements familiarity.
  • Tax compliance and reporting knowledge.
  • Advanced accounting concepts knowledge (revenue recognition, lease accounting).
Personal Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
