Responsibilities

As a Counterterrorism Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing strategic expertise on terrorist personalities, networks, facilities, intentions, capabilities, tactics, training, weapons, to include the use of chemical, biological radiological, nuclear to warn of attacks, disrupt networks, and defeat transnational terrorism.
  2. Supporting the efforts of government agencies and private sector companies to prevent and respond to terrorist threats.
  3. Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate terrorist threats and promote national security.
Requirements
  • Senior-Level: Master's degree or bachelor's degree and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the master's degree.
  • Senior-Level: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Mid-Level: Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Mid-Level: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Junior-Level: Bachelor's degree or an additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Junior-Level: Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
