Inventory Management Lead Job Description

The Inventory Management Lead is responsible for driving strategic planning, monitoring, and optimization of inventory across client accounts. This role ensures that stock levels are aligned with sales forecasts and supply capabilities, minimizing stockouts and overstocks while supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

This position involves analyzing inventory health, including critical levels, overstock, and out-of-stock risks, to make informed decisions about inventory actions such as reorders, markdowns, or marketing push for slow-moving items.

  • Lead demand forecasting and replenishment planning using sales trends and historical data.
  • Align inventory planning with marketing campaigns, promotions, and client seasonality.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for inventory KPIs.
  • Collaborate with clients, sales, and logistics to align inventory plans with operational targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory planning or demand forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or 3PL operations is a plus.
