Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist to join our team. This role will directly report to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics
- Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies
- Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis
- Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms
- Analyze financial reports to proactively address collection risks
- Collaborate with Account Management teams to resolve client billing or payment issues
- Prepare reports related to billing, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership
- Design and maintain internal processes related to billing, cash collection, and bad debt tracking
- Provide support for month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects
