Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive manual test cases and test plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop manual test cases and test plans to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Review and understand software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify potential issues.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Document and communicate test results, status reports, and defect metrics to the QA Manager and development team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
