Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Security Strategist

We seek an experienced Cloud Security Architect to lead our organization's cloud security efforts, ensuring compliance with the most rigorous standards for protecting government data.

This role will play a major part in our NIST 800-53 compliance programs and efforts to obtain and maintain a GovRAMP verified status. The successful candidate will ensure all cloud infrastructure aligns with robust security practices.

  • Develop and implement secure cloud architecture aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance on security strategy, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps practices.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS security services, strong knowledge of SOC2, GovRAMP, DevSecOps, and cloud infrastructure. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Security Strategy & Architecture

The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS, and implementing technical safeguards for identity & access management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Maintaining the System Security Plan (SSP), POA&M, and related documentation.

Collaboration & Enablement

The Cloud Security Architect will collaborate with executive leadership on security strategy and develop training materials to enhance internal security awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP).
