Podcast Editor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled podcast editor to join our team.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing audio from various sources, including interviews, discussions, and narrative content. They will work closely with the production team to ensure a high-quality final product that meets the required standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mixing and editing audio files to create engaging and polished podcasts

  • Reviewing and revising scripts and show notes for accuracy and clarity

  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro X, Audacity, GarageBand, Descript, and Reaper

  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in podcast editing software and tools

  • Strong knowledge of audio formats and file management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content calendar management

  • Knowledgeable about adapting writing style to brand voice

  • Part-time EST hours available

  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
