Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Solution Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our customers to understand their data challenges and provide technical expertise to help them succeed with our cutting-edge data platform.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Presents Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
  • Works hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
  • Maintains a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them
  • Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing
  • Be an advocate and develop mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing sales engineering (tech pre-sales) role
  • Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science and data apps
  • Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL (Python knowledge would be a bonus)
