Job Title: Senior User Interface Designer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design of a consumer-facing aged care mobile app and a platform for healthcare professionals and systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create user-friendly, scalable solutions through close collaboration with engineering, product, and clinical teams
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand diverse user groups, especially older adults
  • Design accessible, high-contrast, readable, and intuitive interfaces meeting the unique needs of the aged care market
  • Develop a design system and clear workflows for feedback and approvals
  • Lead all aspects of UI/UX delivery, from strategy through execution
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably with at least 2 years designing health or medical tech products
  2. 2+ years of startup experience where you managed your work independently
  3. Experience designing for older adults (ages 65 to 80) with a strong focus on accessibility and usability
  4. Proficiency in Figma, with a fast, organized, and collaborative approach
  5. Strong design research skills and the ability to uncover user needs without constant direction
  6. A proactive, self-driven attitude and a strong desire to build
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a love for cross-functional collaboration
  8. Strong visual design abilities with a portfolio that shows clean, custom work
  9. Comfortable taking on multiple responsibilities and solving new challenges with a positive, solution-focused mindset
