Job Role Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to develop test automation scripts that expedite the delivery of testing milestones while upholding high quality standards. The main focus will be on automating existing manual tests to enhance speed, reliability, and efficiency.

This is an external contractor position, with the engagement structured around specific project requirements. There may be opportunities for continued work through other projects or an extension, contingent upon organizational priorities.

  • Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, execute and maintain automated tests in various layers (UI, API, etc) of the application using automation tools and scripting tools.
  • Develop reusable and scalable automation test components.
  • Perform automated regression, smoke, functional and end-to-end testing.
  • Conduct parallel and scheduled test execution.
  • Analyze and report automation test results.
  • Debug and fix failed tests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Software Testing and Development.
  • At least 1 year hands-on experience in Software QA Automation.
  • Proficiency in UI automated test development using Selenium.
  • Strong grasp of C# programming and object-oriented principles.
  • Experience in using Azure DevOps for managing repositories, configuring pipelines, and executing tests.
  • Proven experience in developing and testing web and mobile applications, and/or kiosk-based systems.
  • Ability to convert manual test cases to automation test scripts.
  • Ability to analyze failed test scripts, debug and trace root causes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
