About the Role:

  • Evaluate products against international safety regulatory standards and product specifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Develop and oversee test plans through coordination/supervision with test personnel, fostering a culture of quality and reliability.
  • Cultivate relationships with certification agencies for efficient product certification applications, maintaining transparency throughout the process.
  • Liaise with program management to ensure internal qualification and certification targets/status are met, driving alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate with design engineering teams to address technical concerns related to product safety, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in self-test programs of laboratories by 3rd party certifiers, upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Review product safety impact on design changes and process re-qualification/re-certifications, making informed decisions to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain certification and other administrative activities, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and adherence to regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeters, dataloggers).
  • Understanding of switching power supply operation with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Awareness of IEC60950-1, IEC62368-1, ISO17025 standards is beneficial.
